Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Gurvinder Nokwal, Sales Representative, Bridge Realty Inc. Brokerage ("we", "us") collect, use, share and protect personal information through https://www.homesbynokwal.ca/ (the "Website"). We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Please also read our Terms of Service.
1. Who is responsible
Gurvinder Nokwal is responsible for personal information collected through the Website and acts as its privacy contact. Information about real estate services you receive is also held by Bridge Realty Inc. Brokerage, the brokerage, which has its own privacy obligations. You can reach us using the details at the end of this policy.
2. What we collect
- Messages and requests: your name, email address, phone number, your message, preferred times, and (for home valuations) the property address and details you give us.
- Your account: your email address and, if you add them, your name and phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google (not your password).
- What you save: the homes you save, the searches you save, how often you want alerts, and a record of your consent to alerts (the date and your IP address).
- Account activity: when you sign up or sign in, save or remove homes and searches, unsubscribe, or send us a request, and when you accepted these policies.
- Technical information: your IP address, used to prevent abuse (for example, limiting how many emails can be requested) and to record consent. Our host and security provider keep standard server logs.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as your financial details or government identification through the Website. If you become a client, the brokerage may need to verify your identity as required by law (for example, under Canada's anti-money-laundering rules); that happens outside the Website.
3. How we use it
- to answer your questions and requests, and to arrange showings, calls and home valuations;
- to run your account: saved homes, saved searches and listing alerts you asked for;
- to follow up with you about your home search or sale, if you have contacted us or created an account;
- to keep the Website secure and prevent spam and abuse;
- to meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations as a registered real estate professional.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes you would not reasonably expect.
4. Consent
By sending us a message or creating an account, you consent to our use of your information as described here. We send listing alerts and other commercial emails only with your express consent (an unticked box you choose to tick). You can withdraw consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, change your alerts under My account, or contact us. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some features.
5. Who we share it with
- Bridge Realty Inc. Brokerage, the brokerage, and its staff, when needed to provide real estate services or meet regulatory requirements;
- service providers that help us run the Website and email, such as our web host, our email delivery service, and our security and content-delivery provider, and Google if you choose Google sign-in or use an embedded map or booking tool. They may only use the information to provide their service to us;
- other parties when required or permitted by law, for example to comply with a court order or a regulator such as RECO.
6. Where it is stored
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account information until you delete your account. When you delete it under My account > Profile, your saved homes, saved searches and account activity are deleted. Messages and requests you sent us, and records we must keep as a registered real estate professional, are kept for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were collected for and as required by law, then deleted or anonymized.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses a few essential cookies and browser storage: to keep you signed in, to remember that you have an account, and (before you sign in) to remember the homes you saved on your device. These are needed for the features to work. Embedded third-party services, such as maps, booking calendars or Google sign-in, may set their own cookies under their own policies.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, sign-in links that work once and expire after 15 minutes, and limits on how the Website can be used. No website or email system is completely secure, so please keep access to your email account safe.
10. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us. You can delete your account yourself at any time. We will respond within 30 days. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
11. Children
The Website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or on the Website.
